Washable Wipes in Soft Bamboo

These rounded squares of double-sided knitted bamboo wipes are just the thing to use instead of spending heaps on disposable wet wipes.

Take them straight from the washer and pop in a sandwich box or sealable poly bag and you're sorted!

Scent them with a little lavender oil - diluted of course as it can burn the skin if used neat - and keep some in your change bag. Being bamboo, they are naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal so they stay fresh for longer than cotton.

New larger size 15cm x 20cm.

Pack of 10.

Washable Wipes

Very soft so would feel happy to use from newborn. Much better for baby than disposable wipes.

Washable bamboo wipes

These are really great! We use them for nappy changes and also if we run out of boosters we sometimes fold these and put them in as a back up!

Great quick clean up

These wipes are great. Very soft and a good size for cleaning dirty bums. What would usually require maybe 5 wet wipes can be cleaned with just one, sometimes 2, of these wipes. I store wet in a tub for a quick grab and wipe then throw it in the nappy bin along with the nappy. No need to dry them after they have been washed, just put them straight back in the tub already wet and ready to go. Definitely recommend these.

Bamboo wipes

Great at cleaning bums. What would have taken at least 6 wet wipes to clean was gone with just 2 bamboo wipes

Good little wipes

Got these as a freebie but now tempted to buy some more to use on bottoms... currently using them in the kitchen to wipe sticky faces and hands. They shrunk slightly in the first wash but not really a problem, and have shoved them in with a variety of loads of washing with no apparent issues - Weetabix and tomato sauce both washed off with no residues or staining! Very quick drying, rinse well for use during the day and neither toddler or baby has had any problems with their use.

They’re quite expensive but with two faces to wipe they’ll probably pay for themselves over time, especially once we’re past the nappy stage and not routinely buying disposable wipes. I also think they’ll live on for wiping surfaces long after face wipes are no longer required!

Washing Instructions

Care for your nappies by following these easy steps.

  1. Hold the nappy or washable liner over the toilet and ease off the solids. If using a disposable liner, bin it, don't flush it.
  2. Close any velcro tabs.
  3. Put them in a dry pail with lid. Soaking is not needed.
  4. Wash them with a gentle washing powder on a full cycle using the recommended amount of washing powder for load size and water hardness. Note - DO NOT ADD BLEACHING AGENTS OR FABRIC SOFTENERS.
  5. Hang out to dry in direct sunshine or near (but not touching ) a direct heat, or tumble dry on a low heat.
