LittleLamb cotton nappies were first introduced over a decade ago.

Apart from the initial purchase price advantage, they work out very, very cheap on cost-per-wear. We have had feedback from parents who have put our standard cotton nappies through four babies and then sold them on.

If you plan on having just two babies you will be paying just 2p a nappy change (and that includes laundry costs) and after you've finished you may still be able to recoup some money on eBay!

They are built to last in a throwaway age.

Size 1 fits babies from around 7lbs - 20lbs (3kgs - 9kgs)

The size 2 fits babies from around 20lbs-38lbs (9kgs -17kgs)

Littlelamb nappies are also available in size 3 which fits from 35lbs/16kgs. We sell very few size 3's as most babies are dry before they need them.

The bigger the pack the greater the savings so check out our multi-packs or for the ultimate kit please see out Cotton Nappy Kit that contains all you need to start using washable nappies straight away.

All fabric nappies will need a wrap (waterproof cover) which are not included in this pack.

A joy to open and use!

These nappies look like perfectly white clouds (or Little Lambs...!) When you get them. A part of me doesn't want to use them hahah! They are so lovely and soft, with a nice, big booster attached inside. They wash up lovely and age really well. Just getting more familiar with each use. These are such high quality, useful, easy nappies, I can't over recommend them. Worth every penny; they will literally last for years with the right treatment.

Some of the first LL nappies I was given by a friend were the standard cotton ones, already 7 years old, and they are still going! Amazing!

Absorbent and faster drying that bamboos

I love my bamboos for night time but now in winter time and with me avoiding the dryer i have hung these inside to dry! And yes! There is a noticeable drying difference between these and the bamboos!

Having them both is the perfect combo!

Needs liner, stiff without a dryer

This is really effective at containment and absorbs nicely, even at night. We have discovered that the micro fleece liner is not optional, because my baby got nappy rash without it (which cleared up once I started using the liner regularly). They do take a while to air dry and get a little hard without a tumble dryer. (The photo shows them after one month of regular use and a tumble dry at the grandparents’).

Great quality

We use the nappies along with the LL wraps during the night. They are very soft, absorbent and we have not had any leaks so far. The fabric is soft to the skin of the baby and have nor caused any irritation. Each nappy comes with an already sewn in insert which is expandable and dries significantly quick. They are a bit bulky (for our taste at least) to use during the day but they are definitely perfect for the night.

Washing Instructions

Care for your nappies by following these easy steps.

  1. Hold the nappy or washable liner over the toilet and ease off the solids. If using a disposable liner, bin it, don't flush it.
  2. Close any velcro tabs.
  3. Put them in a dry pail with lid. Wait until you have a full load.
  4. Wash them with a gentle washing powder on a full cycle using the recommended amount of washing powder for load size and water hardness. Note - DO NOT ADD BLEACHING AGENTS OR FABRIC SOFTENERS.
  5. Hang out to dry in direct sunshine or near (but not touching ) a direct heat, or tumble dry on a low heat.
