Product is good but lack of information regarding material
I was seduced by the offer and the website. Price is attractive and product works well so all in all thumbs up. However the big no no for me which is where I felt a bit tricked as it does not show on the website... is that they are mainly made of polyester which is not biodegradable and not as eco friendly as you imagine. This is a shame. Little lamb if you do more biodegradable please let me know otherwise I will not buy this product anymore for this reason. Would be nice to have the information on the website so people make their “feel right “ decision regarding which material they want to buy? Also the button is in plastic, is there a more eco friendly material available?

Thank you for your review Pauline. You are correct, these have a PUL outer for waterproofing and a microfibre upper for quick wicking away of moisture. We use a small plastic popper as a metal one can become rusty from the moisture. Waterproof materials are very difficult to come by without using man made fabrics but we are always open to and suggestions so please do get in touch if you have any specific ideas on how we could improve our pads. However, at the end of the day you can be happy that you are no longer using single use plastic every month, and that these pads will last you up to 5 years... The average woman uses 10 pads per cycle so 10 x 12 x 5 = 600 single use pads - this is a huge amount of waste you are saving from landfill.
