Bamboo Nippa Nappy - No Velcro Option - Pack of 5
Due to huge demand we have bought a velcro free option for our nappies. The Nippa Nappy is used with our nappy fasteners and have the same quality components as our original bamboo nappy without the velcro fasteners. I used this option for nighttime changes as they are so quiet to use.
When it comes to a thirsty nappy, this is it. Matched with a LittleLamb bombproof wrap it'll contain most of what your baby can throw at it.
The size 1 nappy fits babies from around 7lbs - 20lbs (3kgs - 9kgs)
The size 2 fits babies from around 20lbs-38lbs (9kgs -17kgs)
Littlelamb bamboo nappies are also available in size 3 which fits from 35lbs/16kgs but most babies will be dry before they grow out of the size 2's so only order larger when needed.
Each bamboo nappy also comes with a washable fleecy liner.
All Littlelamb bamboo yarns hold current Oeko-tex certification.
Nappy fasteners are not included in this purchase, these have to be bought separately here.
All fabric nappies will need a wrap (waterproof cover) which are not included in this pack.
- Washing Instructions
These are my go to nappies so soft and absorbent would definitely recommend. They do take a long time to dry indoors, they need to dry outside or finished off in the tumble dryer.
So soft and dry fairly quick
My baby has not been born yet, but I was recommended to get these nappies for my newborn as the sizing is more flexible and also the velcro doesn't wake the baby at night. I think little lamb is one of the few nappies that comes with this option.
I have prewashed the nappies as recommended. This is a whole new world to me, apparently you need to use a non bio so I have non bio powder, an eco egg and napisan (which gets rids of germs at 30 degrees). Washed the nappies with the eco egg and was pleasantly surprised at how fast they dried and how soft they were after washing (especially considering I dried them inside on 3 rainy days in Scotland!)
The nappies look really good quality and soft. I wanted to get the nappy wraps, but I think I might get these second hand or from somewhere that makes the wrap out of recycled bottles-as I want to avoid buying new plastic stuff. Would love it if the little lamb wraps were made out of recycled plastic like bottles/fishing nets etc, then would be doubly good!
Care for your nappies by following these easy steps.
- Hold the nappy or washable liner over the toilet and ease off the solids. If using a disposable liner, bin it, don't flush it.
- Close any velcro tabs.
- Put them in a dry pail with lid. Wait until you have a full load.
- Wash them with a gentle washing powder on a full cycle using the recommended amount of washing powder for load size and water hardness. Note - DO NOT ADD BLEACHING AGENTS OR FABRIC SOFTENERS.
- Hang out to dry in direct sunshine or near (but not touching ) a direct heat, or tumble dry on a low heat.
