Buying this kit saves you 25% compared to purchasing individual items.

Our Standard Nappy Kits contains everything you need to start using washable nappies.

This kit contains...

  • 20 nappies with boosters,
  • 20 washable fleecy liners,
  • 6 wraps,
  • 100 liners on a roll,
  • 1 lidded nappy pail,
  • 1 mesh laundry bag,
  • Instructions and advice.

The nappies come in a choice of different fabrics.

Cotton for a great all-rounder. We've had customers write to us saying they have used one pack of cotton nappies on five babies then sold them on Ebay!

Bamboo for super absorbency. Absorbs twice as much as cotton but does take longer to dry. We sell more of these than any other nappy but if you don't have a tumble drier to finish them off in winter go for cotton or microfibre. With careful laundering bamboo nappies should last a minimum of two babies.

Microfibre for ultra-fast drying time. Made from polar fleece so they almost come out of the washer dry so long as they have been through a decent spin cycle. With careful washing they will last three to four babies.

All nappies come with a washable fleecy liner. It lets the wee through to be absorbed into the body of the nappy while catching any poo. It's made from polar fleece so not a lot sticks to it. At nappy change you just hang it over the toilet and the poo should peel off.

The wrap is the waterproof part of the nappy system and is fitted over the nappy. It is pretty much bombproof thanks to a high rise back and double side-gussets to ensure a perfect fit. It has soft elastic and is made from a soft s-t-r-e-t-c-h-y fabric that does not go hard with age.

We have added some disposable paper liners to the kit to make it easier when you go out and about but we'd prefer you to use the washable fleecies when at home.

Use the mesh laundry bag to line the lidded pail and when you have a full load remove the bag and place into the washer. Easy!

All individual components of LittleLamb nappies, liners and wraps are Oeko-tex certified as safe to use on babies for prolonged periods of time.

A brilliant kit

I bought this kit after we outgrew the size 1s we borrowed from a friend. It's they fit well and are so reliable! We have a mix of cotton and bamboo for convenience of drying as well as absorbancy for nights/car journeys. The bamboo nappy along with a triple booster lasted 11 hours last night with no leaks

So easy to use

We switched to these after baby started eating solid food and they’re so easy to use. I would definitely recommend them.

So excited!

I ordered the 20 kit in the Boxing Day sale in eager anticipation of our first baby arriving late April / early May this year. I'd spent absolutely ages researching cloth nappies and trying to get my head round it all! In the end the reputation of Little Lambs, sized options, price and helpful advice from Vicky @ Little Lambs helped me make the final decision. It was the first big purchase I'd made for the baby and I couldn't wait from them to arrive - which they did, really soon after placing the order. I've now got the full kit so I can cloth nappy and not need to worry about going out and buying a mesh bag, nappy bin etc. So excited to use them!

Go for it!!

I had previously tried a pocket style nappy from another leading brand and wasn't all that impressed, lots of leaks and a bit awkward to assemble.

When my second child turned 2 this year and not showing signs of potty training, I knew it was time to try reusable again and found Little Lamb - so glad I did!!

I find the design of the standard nappies brilliant, the wrap on top is pure genius, as is the micro-fibre liner, when no matter how runny the poo, most or a lot really does just fall off into the toilet.

I was originally struggling with two issues: they were coming up a little tight (size 2) on my petite 2 year old and they were not coming out smelling that fresh from a 40 degree wash... both issues sorted! I rang Little Lamb up and and lovely lady gave me some great tips: wear the bamboo nappy itself much looser and pull up the gusset higher, making sure the wrap is tight on top. If you are in a hard water area (we are, you can check online) washing at 40 but with the FULL amount of detergent.

You get into the swing of washing them very quickly and using washable wipes too is a great idea as you chuck them all in together.

I have just bought another kit in size 1 for my expectant baby!!

Washing Instructions

Care for your nappies by following these easy steps.

  1. Hold the nappy or washable liner over the toilet and ease off the solids. If using a disposable liner, bin it, don't flush it.
  2. Close any velcro tabs.
  3. Put them in a dry pail with lid. Wait until you have a full load.
  4. Wash them with a gentle washing powder on a full cycle using the recommended amount of washing powder for load size and water hardness. Note - DO NOT ADD BLEACHING AGENTS OR FABRIC SOFTENERS.
  5. Hang out to dry in direct sunshine or near (but not touching ) a direct heat, or tumble dry on a low heat.
