I had previously tried a pocket style nappy from another leading brand and wasn't all that impressed, lots of leaks and a bit awkward to assemble.
When my second child turned 2 this year and not showing signs of potty training, I knew it was time to try reusable again and found Little Lamb - so glad I did!!
I find the design of the standard nappies brilliant, the wrap on top is pure genius, as is the micro-fibre liner, when no matter how runny the poo, most or a lot really does just fall off into the toilet.
I was originally struggling with two issues: they were coming up a little tight (size 2) on my petite 2 year old and they were not coming out smelling that fresh from a 40 degree wash... both issues sorted! I rang Little Lamb up and and lovely lady gave me some great tips: wear the bamboo nappy itself much looser and pull up the gusset higher, making sure the wrap is tight on top. If you are in a hard water area (we are, you can check online) washing at 40 but with the FULL amount of detergent.
You get into the swing of washing them very quickly and using washable wipes too is a great idea as you chuck them all in together.
I have just bought another kit in size 1 for my expectant baby!!
