Shipping & Returns
It is FREE delivery for orders over £40 to all UK and Irish addresses and that is including the beautiful little islands just off Scotland. Orders under £40 are charged £3. We can also deliver LittleLamb nappies almost worldwide and you can see the shipping costs as they are calculated in the cart before you commit and check out. As much as we would like to, we do not cover the costs of the local taxes and duties so sometimes it is a little costly to import our nappies.
For UK mainland deliveries
To keep the shipping costs as low as we do, trial packs and smaller deliveries are sent using Royal Mail.
For as much as we love our postie, please allow at least 3 working days from dispatch for your parcel to arrive. Many parcels are too large to fit through a letter box, so be sure to check with your local sorting office if overdue.
LittleLamb Nappy kits and medium to larger purchases are despatched via DPD couriers and a signature is required on delivery. If you give us your UK mobile phone number during the order process you will receive a text message from the couriers stating a one-hour timeframe of when your delivery will arrive, so you don't have to wait in all day. You can also reply to the text you get changing the delivery day, request to leave with a neighbour etc - it's pretty cool.
Most kit orders received by midday Monday to Thursday will be received on the following working day if you live on the UK mainland, orders received by midday Friday are delivered on the following Monday, or Tuesday if a public holiday. Orders received over the weekend are despatched on Monday, or Tuesday if we have all been lucky enough to have a public holiday be patient as we will be a long weekend behind - but feeling refreshed.
If your order has not arrived in the time frame expected, please email email@example.com for an update.
Claims for missing orders must be made within 30 days of dispatch.
As much as we love what we do, we don't work on public holidays and neither do DPD.
UK Highlands, Islands and remote rural areas
Amazingly enough, delivery to the Highlands and UK Islands including Jersey, IoM etc is still free over £40 but it does take 2-4 working days.
Yes, still free over £40 but delivery to all parts of Eire/Ireland takes 2-4 working days.
Sorry guys, you do have to pay for postage but we keep it as low as possible. Trial packs and smaller deliveries are sent Airmail. Deliveries can take between 4 and 9 working days depending on country.
EU larger deliveries are shipped in various ways depending on the destination country to keep the cost down for both of us.
Shipping to EU addresses is calculated by weight. To find out your shipping costs pop the items you would like to buy in your basket, proceed to the checkout and select your delivery country from the dropdown list and your shipping costs will be shown. You have not committed to buy at this stage and you can simply close the window and find someone closer to you that will supply you with amazingly cost effective, beautifully cute, super quality items for your baby. However if you find that this is extremely rare to find and you come back to us, delivery charges to some countries may seem expensive but please remember that you are not charged the full amount as we subsidise every EU delivery.
Mainland EU will take between 2-6 days, off-shore islands a few days longer.
During 'sale' time we get very, very, very busy, sometimes processing over 3000 orders in a day. As you know we work in a very small team so if you order during sale time please expect to wait up to fourteen days for your delivery. Be patient - it's worth it.
Our clever new website should be able to tell you how much the shipping costs will be. However please be aware that we DO NOT PAY YOUR TAXES OR DUTIES as we wouldn’t have a clue where to start with all the different laws in the countries we shop to.
If our website is not recognising your country please email Vicky@littlelamb.co.uk for a delivery quote. As deliveries are costed by weight there is no point in asking how much it will be for a delivery to Guatemala unless you tell us exactly what you want to order. We will pack your wish-list, weight and let you know the cost.
Your package will come via airfreight so it is worth remembering that it is costed by volumetric weight. We will squeeze your order into as small a package as we possibly can ensuring you are not paying for fresh air and we keep our packaging to a minimum ( because reducing waste is what we are all about so anything else would be silly ).
Each country has a different threshold on where taxes and duties start so these costs are down to the receiver and the delivery company won't let you have the parcel until all costs are paid. If you later return a kit you've paid taxes and import duty on I am sorry but LittleLamb can't refund that amount; you have to claim directly back from your tax authorities.
Shipping to Australia is duty and tax free so long as the value is under A$1000.
Shipping to New Zealand using the 'You Shop' service from the Post Shop is generally tax and duty free under $300.
Order Errors or Shortages:
If your order arrives and is missing an item, please get in touch. During our busy periods we can be packing for up to 12 hours a day so sometimes things get missed from a delivery. It is the customers responsibility to check their order is correct on receipt and if there is an issue please get in touch within 30 days.
Any reports of an order shortage after 30 days of delivery will not be accepted.
We are so sure our nappies are so easy to use, are such good quality and outstanding value, that we offer a ‘no quibble 6 week money back guarantee' on our 10, 20, 40 kits. We do this because we stand for the fact that washable nappies should be available for everyone to use to help rid the world of one use plastic items.
Because we are a family business we do this to give you the peace of mind that if washable nappies do not work for you, then you have not forked out a lot of money for your kit to sit in a box - or worse go straight to land-fill. You can simply send them back to us, washed and dried with the other items you received in the kit ( Ie, bucket or bags and liners etc) and we will refund you the full amount you paid. We allow 1 trial per customer/household.
‘How can they afford to do this’ you ask? Well we have a little tab on our site called ‘pre-loved kits’ and when we receive an unwanted kit, we send them to an industrial laundry then we sell them on at a reduced price. We do this in the belief that we are all working together to create a better environment for our future generations and that the guarantee will not be abused - and so far it has been really appreciated by our lovely customers so we feel it is working just fine.
If you have any returns, this is the process;
Write to Vicky@littlelamb.co.uk to explain what the problem is and why you wish to return the items. We ask you to do this so Vicky does not get random boxes appear and so we can see if there is a problem we need to address like the very very rare occasion that quality is the issue.
Then once Vicky has written back to you accepting the return, pop it in the post to us at the following address.

It is best practice to use tracked post as we do not want the item going missing. Little Lamb do not cover return costs for unwanted goods.
Once we receive the items we will check that they are laundered ( please do this before sending them back ) and we will refund the amount via the method you paid. If it was a credit card please note that it can sometimes take a month to appear on your statement.
We offer a money-back 6-week guarantee on our 10, 20 and 40 kits only. If the nappies look like they have been used for longer than 6 weeks or have been boiled to death in hot washes, bleached and abused we will not refund the nappies but will return them to you so you can resell them yourself.
For returns other than the 10, 20 and 40 nappy kits, we are happy to offer a full no quibble refund, or exchange, on any unwashed and unused items in the condition received, within 4 months of purchase.
I am afraid we cannot accept pre washed items for return, even if not used.
