Two-Part Nappy System (Included in our Standard Nappy Kit)

Our LittleLamb fitted two-part nappy is our staple, no-frills approach to reusable nappies.

The two-part system includes the fabric fitted nappy and our ‘bombproof’ wrap, without the wrap the nappy is not waterproof. A two-part nappy system creates the classic ‘fluffy bum’ reusable nappy bulky shape but with the bulk comes the high absorbency. If you are looking for a great nappy that is durable, highly absorbent and will last subsequent children - this is it.

Our nappy comes in four different fabric options; bamboo, organic cotton, cotton, and microfibre - all of the fabrics are soft against babies skin but have different benefits;
  • Bamboo - Our bamboo nappy is our most absorbent fabric but does take a very long time to dry. This nappy is very popular for night time use and is highly recommended in the reusable nappy communities. Our bamboo is the best selling nappy and is extremely popular as a night nappy.
  • Organic Cotton & Cotton -The organic cotton/cotton nappy is faster to dry than the bamboo but still very absorbent. Cotton is also very durable so this nappy can last for multiple children; we have seen our nappies from 10 years ago still going strong. This also means these nappies keep their resell value so once you are done with them you will be able to sell these on eBay. This is the original LittleLamb Nappy.
  •  Microfibre - We started making our microfibre nappies to suit people who live in small spaces with no space for drying but need a high absorbency two-part nappy. Microfibre is great as the moisture spins out really well in the spin cycle on your washer, meaning less time to dry hanging. Microfibre is the least absorbent of our two-part system but if you are stuck for drying space then it can be a lifesaver for the busy parent.

All LittleLamb 2 part nappies fasten with Velcro making them extremely simple to use. All nappies come in 3 sizes and have a crossover tab so they can be made tighter for a small baby.
The leg is tight enough to prevent leaks but not too tight to create any chaffing. We use the softest elastic that is gentle on baby’s skin but is robust enough to last. The waist is also elasticated to help contain any explosions.
Boosters & Liners
Each nappy comes with a double layer bamboo viscose booster to increase absorbency further. This is loose in the size 1 nappy so the nappy can be made slimmer for a newborn but the booster is sewn into the size 2. This booster is an integral part of the nappies absorbency and you may need an additional booster for night time.
Each nappy comes with a fluffy washable fleecy liner. Placed between baby and the nappy, it catches the poo for easy disposal down the loo whilst letting the wee pass through to be absorbed by the nappy.
The Wrap
Without the wrap the nappy has no waterproof cover. Our wraps are made from a naturally s-t-r-e-t-c-h-y and soft poly knit fabric that has a breathable membrane bonded to the inside. The result is a wrap that keeps the wee and poop inside.
The wraps are where your babies personality can shine through as you get to choose one of our gorgeous colours.
The wraps were designed to fit around our shaped nappies perfectly, so this system works its best when used together. As both the nappy and wrap have elasticated back and thigh seams 'poo explosions' up to the neck are almost unheard of when using this nappy system.
Peek inside the nappy: The Green fabric is the wrap, the beige fabric is the nappy and the fluffy white fabric is the liner.
